Dear Sunshine Community of Wild Leaven Bakery,
It's that time of the year again: We will be gathering together with our loved ones in honor of this festive season. Whether you are in the land of enchantment or not, we hope you will be surrounded with love and joy.
Our shop will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Christmas Eve (Tuesday, Dec. 24). The following two days (Wednesday and Thursday), the shop will be closed and reopen on Friday (Dec. 27) and Saturday (Dec. 28) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feel free to check our flyer below for reference.
For our STOLLEN, we use all-organic ingredients: New Mexic0 pecans, cranberries, housemade marzipan, Heirloom Sonora wheat, New Mexico bread flour, eggs, butter, milk, cane sugar, house candied citrus, dried Turkish apricots, raisins, and Utah sea salt. Physical gift cards are available at our shop and online on our website.
Many thanks to all of you who have included our food items in your holiday season by shipping a loaf (or more) to your loved ones, bringing them to your special events, or offering a gift card to your special someone.
After attending two markets this December, our team is taking a break from the Taos Winter Market (TWM). We thank our team member David for running our TWM booth. Please stay tuned for our 2025 TWM dates.
Our new location has indoor and outdoor seating, and our everyday menu now offers pizza and coffee drinks (espresso, cortado, latte, mocha) with some Chef's specials. Our regular offerings include our various handcrafted sourdough breads, housemade soups, sweets (cookies, scones), seeded/regular baguettes and country loaves, and our signature housemade Chai!
